I would like to take a moment to share what I do and why investing your time and money in working with me is worthwhile.
Definition: A health coach Works in Partnership with clients, employing evidence-based strategies to assist individuals in making informed health decisions. Health coaches empower people to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to actively participate in their own care. They assist in goal setting and decision-making for future health outcomes. (British Medical Journal)
As a newly qualified health coach, I bring years of experience in mentoring, coaching, and managing people. It is my passion to witness individuals flourish under my guidance.
Over the past two years, I have shifted my focus to aiding women experiencing menopause. Having faced challenges myself, I discovered that this type of coaching process can transform your life (refer to my blog titled “Find Yourself Again,” where you can read my story and view my “before & after” photos).
During my Diploma studies at The College of Naturopathic Medicine, I have coached case study clients, addressing a range of issues from sleep disturbance, depression and anxiety, managing feelings of overwhelm with work, gut health problems, stress management strategies, weight loss, social anxiety, fear of retirement, alcohol dependency, nutritional advice, menopause-related musculoskeletal issues, and mindset changes.
The results have been remarkable, and I am incredibly proud to have supported such extraordinary women in improving their health, losing weight, regaining confidence, and fostering hope for their future well-being and happiness. Several have pursued new job opportunities as a result of our collaboration, and one client shared that the process prompted her to reassess her life and dietary choices, leading to significant improvements in her long-term health with my support.
How I work:
I work from home and can offer face to face or online video calls.
I offer a 12-week program, as I believe this is the minimum time required for changes to become embedded habits, though the duration can vary widely. It demands commitment from both the coach and the client to make these changes sustainable and achievable. The skill of the coach is crucial, and the reason for choosing a 12-week program is to give clients ample time to identify their current and past behaviours, understand the connection between behaviour and health outcomes, learn and embed new behaviours, and shift their mindset.
However, this is just the beginning; the goal is to transform these changes into a new lifestyle. This is not a quick fix diet; its life changing.
I write blogs on my website to educate my clients and their partners and empower them to take control of their health after completing the 12-week course in partnership with me. By subscribing to my website, you will receive weekly blogs on various topics to help you maintain your changes.
Details of my course and pricing structure will be on the “my program” page shortly. Please feel free to reach out with any questions in the meantime or to book a discovery call free of charge.
