5 more sleeps?

If you are feeling very stressed about Christmas as it looms closer, feeling like you have a million things still to do, and only 4 days left to do them. Take a step back and think about what it is that you are feeling anxious about.

Try this simple way to reduce your anxiety:

Write a list of everything that you are pressurising yourself to get done and then cross out the ones that are really not necessary or important.

Take the list you have left and write numbers next to the list in order of priority. Starting from number one on your list, write each one on a separate piece of paper with a simple plan for each one, or if they are very simple, complete them and cross them off the list. This will serve two purposes;

It will help you feel in control.

It will more than likely leave you with a much shorter list which feels more manageable.

This may seem obvious to some, but I hope it will help those of you who are not sleeping, already feeling overwhelmed, and now piling the pressure on yourselves to be the perfect Christmas host/mum/grandma/wife/sister/aunty/daughter !

Try to relax, be kind to yourself and sleep well! Life will feel so much easier if you can .
