
Recipe:
Some people are not able to eat Oats , so this is a great alternative to Porridge and extremely nutritious.
You will need:
40g Quinoa
160ml Water or milk
1 Tsp of honey
1 tsp Cinnamon
A handful of Nuts of your choice
A small handful of blueberries .
Method:
-Add the milk or water to the quinoa.
-Stir together and bring the liquid to the boil.
-Simmer for 10-15 mins until all the liquid has been absorbed.
-Add the Honey, nuts and blueberries and cinnamon to serve.
You can make this different by adding different fruit such as Banana, grated apple and different nuts and seeds.
Try dry frying some sesame and sunflower seeds to give them a lovely nutty flavour and sprinkle onto your Chia bowl.
