Festive Christmas Chocolate date Bark

Recipe:

I know you all loved the chocolate Bark recipe, so when this slightly different version popped up on my Instagram feed I had to share it with you.

It’s a really versatile recipe and you can make it different by changing which nuts you use or use a different nut butter or even Tahini and perhaps add some chopped cranberries for another festive twist.

You will need:

10 Dates Pitted and sliced in half

3 tbs Peanut butter

125g Of dark chocolate (75% or above)

A handful of pistachios or any other nut chopped (Toasted hazelnuts would work really well)

Method:

-Spread the halved dates on a baking tray lined with parchment.

-Flatten the dates with a glass so that they all join together.

-Spread the peanut butter over the top.

-Add the melted chocolate on top of the peanut butter.

-Sprinkle on the chopped nuts

-Place in the fridge until set .

-Cut the Bark into pieces and place in containers with lids.

Try to eat 1 piece at a time !!
